Hi, I’m Kiana!
I’m endlessly curious about human behavior and how we interact with the tech that shapes our lives. That curiosity has fueled my journey as a User Researcher for the past 4 years - and I absolutely love what I do.
I earned my BSc in Psychology from the University of Guelph in 2018, where I first became fascinated by how people think, feel, and make decisions around technology. Not long after, I stumbled into the world of user experience and it instantly clicked. So I packed my bags and headed to England, to attend the University of York where I completed my MSc in Human-Centred Interactive Technologies in 2021.
When I’m not deep in research mode, you’ll probably find me playing the violin, baking up new recipes in the kitchen, or attempting to master Pilates (with mixed results). I also speak English, Farsi, and French - which has come in handy even more than I expected!
